A modern samurai encounters a huge tentacle. They fight.
Armed with a sliver of downtime, we decided to make something for ourselves. We wanted to push our cel character animation in a character-driven piece—in this case, a story about a dreamer who battles to the death with his lunch. Cel animation works its way into most of our projects, but we've never relied on it as the sole animation method through the entirety of a piece. Tako Faito was a chance to do it!
